Tony Khalife and Nick Peters MUsic

Tony Khalife is a professional master musician who left Beirut in 1984 to study at the Guitar Institute of Technology in Los Angeles. He has been written up in Guitar Player magazine and has developed a style unlike any other. Nick first saw Tony play in 1994 and immediately resolved to study with him until he was good enough to join him on stage. Nick has had a role in every Tony Khalife record since 1996 and Tony has had a role in almost every one of Nick’s recordings since his first in 1997. Their lifelong chemistry is visible and audible on stage.

They have played a ton the last few years in the Bay Area Peninsula scene (Alice’s, AppleJacks, Freewheel Brewing, Devil’s Canyon Brewing, Stanford) and the Humboldt scene, including, of course, Gyppos Ale Mill, the Mateel Arts and Music Festival, and Blue Lake’s Folklife Festival, with other regular gigs in San Clemente, San Diego, Ojai, and up into Ashland and Grants Pass, OR.
